Grilled King Crab
It started with our Saturday errands run…to the supermarket… the conversation at the seafood station was short and to the point:
Me: Why don’t we buy some and treat ourselves? They are on sale.
Tom: I fire up the grilled, you melt some butter and we called it a belated Valentine’s dinner.
Me: Deal
A couple of more stops around town and then when we got home, Tom fired up this baby
And lost no time once it was nice and hot to placed these
And, sat back and watched them cook up slowly
I, in the meantime, was in the kitchen recreating the crab salty sea enviroment, melting a bit of butter (1 stick) with a splash of lime juice (1 tablespoon), a couple of sprinkles of sea salt, and to give it some color a handful of chopped parsley.
We sat outside a beautiful, breezy, cool Saturday evening in our backyard and got our hands dirty.
All it takes is a bit of butter, your fingers and lots of dipping…
With our bellies full we laid back and high five our fist Valentine Day as husband and wife.
How to? Simple - buy some King crab legs, fire up the grill, once those ambers are nice and hot, place crab on grill, cook for about 5 minutes, then cover and cook another 5 until those legs turn a deep red.
Take them out, served the nice hot butter next to them and get cracking.
Happy Valentine guys!
